Veronica Hearst

Veronica Hearst active involvement with a lot of charitable and social causes has made her a prominent figure amongst the American high society. She detests the evil of hunger and poverty in the society and is working relentlessly against it with her American Hunger Alliance. She is an intellectual lady with a special flare for fashion and can speak seven different languages as well. She is an art devotee who dreams of a better American society and is working relentlessly for its improvements.

Veronica Hearst has a passion for arts which has made her able to successfully lead the Americans for Arts (AFTA) organization which works with a number of education programs to educate people about arts and alongside provides them with opportunities to participate in. She further acted as the chairman of National Awards program for AFTA which works to recognize accomplishments in the fields of performing arts, education, advocacy, philanthropy and corporate giving.

Apart from being involved with AFTA, she has worked for the preservation of the many historical sites in US. Since the foundation of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts was set, Veronica Hearst has been a part and a member of the museums photography committee for 15 years now. Also she has contributed her time and efforts for the restoration of the Walker Evans Archive in the museum as well.

Veronica Hearst also works as the special advisor of the White House Millennium Council which is an effective program to preserve the cultural heritage and scientific contributions of the US society today for generations to come. All in all, Veronica Hearst has contributed more than her fair share to the preservation and growth of arts.
