Veronica Hearst

Veronica hearst is a prominent social figure known for her involvement with numerous charitable causes and social issues. She strongly feels for the hungry and the needy in the society and has launched about the American Hunger Alliance to eradicate this evil from the society completely. She is a very intellectual lady who is at ease with seven different languages and has an inborn interest in fashion and a passion for arts. She dreams of a better American society and is relentlessly working to bring that about.

She has been successfully been serving as Americans for the Arts since 1998. It was under her capable leadership, that AFTA organized a number of educational programs to develop a better understanding of arts in Americans. She also presided over the national awards program for AFTA, which recognizes high achievers in the fields of performing arts, education, advocacy, philanthropy and corporate giving.

Besides her involvement with AFTA she has also worked for the restoration of many historical sites in the US. Her attachment with the Metropolitan Museum of Arts is commendable as she has been a member of its photography committee for the past 15 years. She has also devoted her time and energies to the restoration of the Walker Evans Archive of the museum, one of the most endangered historic sites in US. Apart from that Veronica Hearts is one the special advisory board of the White House Millennium council which works for the preservation of U.S culture by appreciating the historic cultural and scientific contributions by the Americans in the 20th century. All in all Veronica Hearst is a true asset to humanitarian society whose contributions cannot be forsaken.
