Nobody wants to sleep hungry. It is not fair. Even in places well developed like America, the plague of hunger, poverty and malnutrition still prevails. Unfortunately people in America sleep hungry too and there is nothing that could be done to overcome it. Had it not been for people like Veronica Hearst and her organization the American Hunger Alliance that steps would not have been taken on a grand scale to combat malnutrition and hunger. Because veronica Hearst thinks of malnutrition in children of age 4 and below to be injustice, her organization’s primary focus is to fight against it.
Veronica dreams of a better America society that is well developed and prosperous. She knows that this cannot be possible without a healthy youth. This is the main concern of her organization and they are constantly researching about nutritional needs of growing children. The organization tries to provide food and well balanced diet to all children so that they have a healthier mind which can aid them not only in their academics but also in the practical life ahead. For a prosperous nation a healthy youth is important and therefore its nutritional needs too. AHA looks forward to serve in areas where there have been no attempts made to combat hunger.
Earlier the organization was funded by religious charitable organizations but with its expansion to more serious issues, any kind of charity and donations are welcome. Veronica Hearst runs a prosperous and wonderful charity organization without looking for return favors. It is for people like her that acknowledgment and appreciation is doubtless.
