Veronica Hearst

Veronica Hearst is a compassionate humanitarian who has been tirelessly working with several charitable organizations and social causes for a better American society. She strongly objects to the evils of hunger and poverty in the society and is working relentlessly with her American Hunger Alliance to eradicate this social problem to the best of her efforts. She is a very intellectual lady, who not only has a stylish flare to her personality but can also speak seven different languages and nurtures a deep passion for arts.

Her love for arts has driven her to successfully lead the organization American for the Arts (AFTA) since 1998. It is under her lead that the organization has become majorly responsible for the education of many Americans in the field of arts and their prosperous involvement with the subject. She has also headed the national awards program for AFTA which serves to recognize special achievements in the fields of arts, education, philanthropy, advocacy and corporate giving.

Veronica Hearst has lent her support for the preservation of many historical sites in US. Her undying devotion to the Metropolitan Museum for Arts and a long association of 15 years with the museum’s photography committee is a proof of her love for arts. Also she has been a priceless help in the restoration of the Walker Evans Archive, the most endangered historical site in the Metropolitan Museum. Veronica Hearst is also on the special advisory board of the White House Millennium Council which works to preserve the American national history, culture and scientific contributions today for future generations to come. her efforts for the community are tremendous and truly deserve to be widely appreciated.
